A Warning to Fort Bend and Katy Communities: When Former Katy ISD Board President’s Interference Becomes Publicly Harmful

A Personal Account of Boundary Violations, Interference, and Escalation

This is my personal account — my perspective, my experience, and my truth.

For 33 years, my husband Christian lived under patterns of emotional pressure, control, and interference from his parents, Scott and Courtney Doyle. Courtney, a former Katy ISD Board President, cultivated an image of involvement and leadership. From the outside, everything appeared polished, supportive, and respectable.

Behind that image was a very different reality.

When I met them in person a little over a year ago, the mask slipped quickly. The pressure, the manipulation, and the emotional volatility became undeniable.

This is why I’m writing today:

• To bring truth to the surface.

• To protect my family.

• To end a cycle that has lasted decades.

The Attempt to Break Our Marriage

Before anything ever became public, a quiet pattern was unfolding behind closed doors.

Based on what we personally witnessed, Scott and Courtney repeatedly:

• encouraged division

• stirred emotional chaos

• inserted themselves into private matters

• pushed Christian away from his home

• undermined unity, healing, and progress

This did not feel like concern — it felt like resistance to the positive changes Christian was finally making.

Yet the result was the opposite of what they intended:

Peace grew. Our marriage strengthened. Christian began healing. We became unified.

And once unity formed, their behavior escalated.

The Trigger: Meeting His Biological Father

The breaking point came when Christian made a deeply personal, healthy decision:

He chose to meet his biological father for the first time in over two decades.

What should have been a healing moment instead triggered chaos — not because of the reunion, but because of how his parents reacted.

Based on what unfolded, that moment threatened:

• their control

• their narrative

• their influence

• and the version of history Christian had been conditioned to accept

The moment he pursued peace and truth, everything intensified.

A Pattern That Could No Longer Be Ignored

Over time, an unmistakable pattern became clear:

• showing up uninvited at people’s jobs

• contacting Christian’s employers

• sharing personal information without consent

• entering private property without permission

• interfering with his ability to work and provide

• disguising sabotage as “concern”

These were not isolated incidents.

This was Christian’s normal for 33 years.

And on November 18, 2025, that pattern crossed a line.

What Happened on 11/18 — My Account

On November 18, Scott and Courtney drove over an hour from Richmond to The Woodlands and arrived at my home unannounced — despite the fact that I had not spoken to either of them in months.

The Confrontation

When I attempted to leave the house with my family to go to dinner:

• Scott stepped directly in front of my vehicle.

• He knocked aggressively on my window.

• We had no idea why they were there.

Scott walked directly up to my car window, uninvited, attempting to stop us from leaving. His approach and knocking were abrupt, forceful, and created legitimate safety concerns for me and my family.

After I drove off:

• Scott and Courtney followed us out of the neighborhood.

Their behavior felt impulsive, unpredictable, and deeply unsettling.

While We Were Gone

After we left, they returned to my home repeatedly and:

• walked around my driveway

• approached and inspected a vehicle they did not possess

• leaned on the vehicle

• moved my trash can to clear a towing path

• remained on my property without permission

All of this occurred without communication, without consent, and while we were not home.

It was not normal behavior.

It was escalation — and raised serious safety concerns.

The Tow That Followed

Shortly after their unannounced visit, Scott and Courtney instructed a tow truck to enter my private driveway — without my permission, without notice, and without legal authority.

They ordered the removal of a vehicle that Christian:

• made payments on

• maintained and repaired

• was insured on

• had written acknowledgment he could use

• relied on daily to work and support his family

Under Texas Occupations Code §2308, any tow from private residential property requires authorization from the current property occupant — not merely the vehicle’s owner.

They did not have my authorization.

They did not notify us.

No consent was given.

• This was not repossession.

• This was not lawful retrieval.

• This was not concern.

• This was interference.

• This was retaliation.

• This was part of a long-standing pattern.

Retaliatory Job Interference and Employment Sabotage

A deeper pattern of control became evident when Scott and Courtney used their personal connections to “help” Christian obtain a job several months ago, only to later use that same influence to have him fired when he no longer aligned with their expectations.

But their interference did not stop there.

Shortly after Christian found new employment on his own, they went to his workplace without his knowledge or consent, ambushing and cornering his employer under the pretense of “concern.”

During this encounter, they made misleading and false statements — including claiming Christian had “stolen a key,” despite having full permission to drive the vehicle.

This conduct reflects:

• retaliatory interference

• third-party employment sabotage

• economic abuse

Their actions were calculated to destabilize Christian’s income, reputation, and independence.

Why I’m Speaking Publicly

I am speaking out for:

• my safety

• my children’s safety

• and the safety of anyone who may encounter similar dynamics

No one sees what happens behind closed doors — but private actions have very real, very public consequences.

For years, we tried to maintain peace with people who never valued Christian’s goodness or the family he is building. Every time he tried to heal or progress, the interference resurfaced — louder, stronger, and more harmful.

There is no telling what they may do next, especially given how much attention they have generated by sabotaging Christian’s progress.

We are asking for prayer and protection as Christian works to support his family without ongoing disruption from Scott and Courtney or anyone they involve.

Silence is what allowed this cycle to survive.

Speaking out is the only thing that shifts it.

Private conversations, boundaries, and requests for respect have not worked.

Instead, the behavior has escalated.

So this is where the silence ends.

This is where the cycle breaks.

And this is where our truth becomes a guide for others who may be living through the same patterns.
